Add A New Nextgen Gallery to WordPress
This tutorial will explain how to add a new gallery using the Nextgen Gallery Plugin and insert that new gallery into a page.
Adding the New Gallery with Nextgen Gallery
Click on ‘Add Gallery/Images’ in your left side navigation menu.

By default the add new gallery screen should appear. If it doesn’t just click on the Add New Gallery Tab
Enter the Gallery Name in the text field.
If you are using Nextgen Custom Fields, make sure all the Custom Fields you want to use with this particular gallery are checked.

Click the blue ‘Add Gallery’ button to add your new gallery.
Once your gallery is created, you will see a notification appear above with your gallery id and the code to insert this gallery. Make sure you write down or copy and paste this code somewhere as you will need it to add the gallery into a page.

Add your New Gallery onto a Page or Post
Create a new page. You can follow our Create a New Page in WordPress Tutorial to find out how to add a new page in your WordPress backend.
Once you have created the new page, simply copy and paste the code you saved when creating the gallery into the main text area.
Adding the Nextgen Gallery Code to your Page/Post
Click the blue Publish button on the right to Publish and save your new page.
